I am an Assistant Professor at University of Iowa in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a research affiliate at IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. My research focuses on measuring and modeling air pollutants, particularly greenhouse gas emissions from wastewater treatment. Learn more about my past research here and my UIowa group here!

Prior to joining Iowa in January 2026, I was at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Systems and Energy Technologies Analysis (2023 - 2025), where I conducted analysis of greenhouse gas emissions from wastewater treatment and field experiments on indoor aerosols transport. I completed my PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University (2021) , followed by postdoctoral research on validating methane measurement technologies in Energy Science and Engineering (2022 - 2023) with Professor Adam Brandt. I hold a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in Environmental Engineering Science (2012) and an M.S. from Stanford University in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2015).
